I've been back on U.S. soil for about 12 days, and IT FEELS GREAT. I've gone to 2 Chefs twice, had mexican food a half a dozen times, cuban food, and italian food. Went to NYC last week for a week and it was fabulous, as NY is in the summertime. The weather was perfect and sunny, and I went to see the Origami Architecture exhibit at the Arts & Crafts museum. Beautiful paper engineering (my next job, maybe).

Tomorrow (well, later today, as it is now about 2:30 am), I go to sunny California - Santa Monica - to spend 10 glorious days by the beach with Mica and Ari and Lori (and a Vietnamese wedding with lots of family too). Will report more some other day. Returning from CA on July 31.
