To my great disappointment, I discovered yesterday when receiving a post card from my friend Maggie, that letters had been delivered to the house for me, but the young girl who works for Di 10 who met with the postman told him that no one with that name lives here. It was a combination of confusion, illiteracy, and my odd name. So if you’ve mailed me, I haven’t yet received your letter, but Thanh assures me that letters are kept at the post office (if they are undeliverable, they are sent back there and apparently sit there, though are not thrown out, I HOPE). I have been expecting 3 letters and if you’ve mailed and I don’t know, then let me know so I can be sure to ask the postman for your letter. Keep emailing too, at hanihong@hotmail.com
